A workshop to narrate reality without giving up the tools of literature. Observation, interviewing, research, archives, scenes, characters, narrative voice, structure, and fact-checking are combined in a process that leads from fieldwork to the finished text.

Level: Beginner / intermediate.

Target audience: Writers, journalists, and people interested in chronicles and narrative nonfiction.

Final project: A chronicle of approximately 4,000-7,000 words accompanied by a source dossier.
