Not a course to learn what a novel is, but a space to work on a novel that already exists or is underway.

Not a course to learn what a novel is, but a space to work on a novel that already exists or is underway. The laboratory is organized as a manuscript clinic, with deep reading, structural diagnosis, and rewriting cycles.

Level: Advanced. Admission with project or manuscript in development.

Target audience: Authors who are already working on a novel and need sustained editorial support.

Final project: Comprehensive project diagnosis, an extensive revised sample, and a continuity plan. Finishing the novel during the course is not a requirement.
